You seem to be saying that the inclusion of Oyranos in Debian is my 
responsibility. However, I'm not the Oyranos project leader (you are), 
and I'm not the Debian maintainer either.

The decision that's within my power to make as CinePaint project leader 
is whether CinePaint will cooperate with Debian. Are you demanding we 
abandon Debian?

CinePaint has fallen out of Debian and consequently Ubuntu, creating a 
minor crisis that I'm trying to solve. I'm told that Debian does not 
want third party libraries bundled with apps, and I can understand why 
that's a sensible policy. Until Oyranos is packaged for Debian, I can't 
include it in CinePaint for Debian. It isn't up to me. It's up to you 
and Debian.
