[CinePaint] Multiple error message windows on image open

Hello, Apologies if this is a dumb question, I 'm unable to find the answer on my own. I just installed cinepaint 0.25 from cvs. When I open an image, I get multiple windows with error messages related to missing profiles. Is there a way to turn the messages off, or do I need some specific profile files in a specific directory? I attempted to turn off color management under Preferences, to no avail.
