[CinePaint] Compiling on Fedora 13, access to CVS

Hi all,

I'm trying to compile cinepaint 0.25. I have downloaded the source
from cvs roughly in September of last year. I was able to compile it
on then-current Fedora 11. After a hdd failure I installed Fedora 13
and am trying the compilation again.

Trying to compile it the usual way via ./configure and make produces
errors of the type

I'm not sure whether my ld configuration is messed up or whether the
compilation tools don't work as they used to (with every Fedora
release it seems the syntax changes somewhat and old source packages
seem to be not compilable). So I tried to download the up-to-date
source from cvs using the instructions on

http://www.cinepaint.org/download.html

namely doing

cvs -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/cinepaint login
Logging in to :pserver:[email protected]:2401/cvsroot/cinepaint
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: connect to [cvs.sourceforge.net]:2401 failed:
Connection refused

but only getting the error above. Is there a way for a mere mortal
(non-developer) to get the current sources?
