More so than Gentoo?

I've been using the patched Gentoo version 0.25 (from overlay) since November 2010
and it works well for me.

Thanks for the information.  I'm alway looking for new cinepaint versions from
the distributions.

After downloading the source RPM and patching (20 patches) I get the following
error during compile:

cms.c: In function 'cms_gimage_open':
cms.c:2683:8: error: 'p_name' undeclared (first use in this function)
cms.c:2683:8: note: each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in

I don't know how to eliminate this error.  I have both lcms-2.1 and lcms-1.19
installed on my Gentoo system.
