As a work-around, it should be possible to go into the > settings dialog and reset the paths appropriately. > > Robin Hi Robin, thanks for the tip and for all the work - I set the paths in Preferences, but upon next start-up cinepaint crashed immediately with the dreaded cinepaint fatal error: sigsegv caught cinepaint (pid:1129): [E]xit, [H]alt, show [S]tack trace or [P]roceed: At this point I think I'll download one of the older versions and will use it until a fix comes along.
