That's important to keep in mind. I hadn't thought about that in a while.

Just so you know, nobody in CinePaint has ever liked the GIMP GUI. If 
somebody wants to rip apart the GUI in Film Gimp there's nothing to stop 
him but the work.

My GUI plan for Glasgow is a tabbed flipbook metaphor where each tab is 
an image. I'd like dialogs docked to the toolbar (or not) and that can 
auto-hide when the mouse moves away. Simple and clean. Is it the right 
way? Maybe. It's what I'd enjoy trying when I get past the internal 
workings so I can play with the GUI.
