Hi Bob.

As I'm exploring the API/functionality, writing to the root joined my
wish-list. All the work I'm doing so far is in C, so I wanted to keep
this work in C too; I use (and have used for years) "gm display -root",
so I knew the functionality existed. Currently, I've punted and do just
exec() gm to get this effect. The wm grabbing windows is a seperate
problem that I'll deal with case-by-case. If there's some targetted
GMDisplayToRoot()-style call I'm missing, or pointers for working w/
what I've started with, I'll take any hints I can get :)
