Thank you so very much! I had tried adding --enable-shared to TclMagick ./configure, but hadn't considered adding it to GraphicsMagick configure directly. In case someone (including an absentminded me) sees this: I first cleared the previous gm install with "make distclean" in GraphicsMagick-1.3.23 dir. Then: # ./configure --enable-shared # make # make install # cd TclMagick # make distclean # ./configure --with-tcl=/usr/local/src/tcl8.5.18/unix/ --with-magick=/usr/local/src/GraphicsMagick-1.3.23/wand/GraphicsMagickWand-config --enable-threads --with-tk=/usr/local/src/tk8.5.18/unix/ --enable-shared # make install cheers, Benjamin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Site24x7 APM Insight: Get Deep Visibility into Application Performance APM + Mobile APM + RUM: Monitor 3 App instances at just $35/Month Monitor end-to-end web transactions and take corrective actions now Troubleshoot faster and improve end-user experience.
