It worked. That is good to hear. There are likely not many users of TclMagick but we would like to continue to support and improve it. Please let us know about anything which needs to be fixed. A volunteer (with some knowledge of C code and Tcl extensions) is needed to help figure out the interfacing between TkMagick and TclMagick so that TkMagick works on Linux again. We just need a reliable way to pass a single pointer, such as by having TkMagick call a public interface in TclMagick.
