Certainly.  It seems to me, many tcl users and subsequently TclMagick 
users, are very competent and mostly quiet about its use --because it 
provides a strategic advantage in various hidden or vertical apps.

Is there a bug report (url) associated with this?

Maybe I can get it in front of a tcl/tk developer. Otherwise I will 
meditate on it as a useful example for learning how to build a tcl 
extension.
