I am of course biased because it's my project, but you could take a look 
at 64 Studio 0.9.4:

The installer provides a Debian testing system with a whole bunch of 
creative tools ready to use, in about half an hour.

Project Orange used Debian testing I believe, so it can be done:

If you don't have an AMD64 machine, we also produce an alternative 
installer for 32-bit PCs.
