Bug #2263, was updated on 2004-Aug-17 01:41 Here is a current snapshot of the bug. Project: Ogle DVD player Category: audio Status: Open Resolution: None Bug Group: None Priority: 5 Submitted by: none Assigned to : none Summary: Audio playback problem Details: When playing a particular DVD (King Kong - the classic version) ogle produces nice sound out of the left speaker and nasty clicks out of the right speaker (or perhaps the other way around: I might have my speakers wired wrong:). I've verified this on both Linux (Fedora Core 2 with ogle, libmad, liba52, libdvdread and libdvdcss compiled from sourse) and FreeBSD. Both work fine playing other DVDs. I suspect it's because the audio in King Kong is mono not stereo (it has a little note on the back saying MPEG mono). Under Fedora Core 2 I've got these versions: ogle 0.9.2 libdvdcss 1.2.8 libdvdread 0.9.4 liba52 0.7.4 libmad 0.15.1b if ya want more info, my email address is: [email protected].
