Hi Meri,

I like Dell's approach: after selecting a basic product, you can
customize several components (hardware, software). The different
options are clearly explained and you can compare their prices easily.

This approach reduces the hype, also. You don't have to say "It's only
$50 to increase your bodily injury limit to $100,000/$300,000". Let
the customer see the difference between the two options and decide by
his/her own:
  Bodily injury limit:
  _x_ $100,000  [Included in Price]
  ___ $300,000  [add $50]
