Yeah, the same is true for me too.

But... I've installed mod_fastcgi for apache 2.2.4 (with patch found in
this maillist archives), and - it's just works! I've no questions about it,
I've no problems with it, I've no feature requests, ... I've nothing to
discuss about it.

Of course, fresh news on website and some maillist activity will make it
ease to introduce newbies to fastcgi. And will result in more and more
people using it because fastcgi is very good technology. Best available
technology for running CGI, I think.

But current FastCGI users doesn't looks like interested in making FastCGI
more popular... or even looks alive. :) Probably that's because their
ability to use FastCGI doesn't depend on it popularity and publicity.

Maybe, someday, FastCGI community will have own evangelist, but now looks
like we all are too busy with our work to spend our time for this. ;-)
