Here are some little things I miss from Galeon 1.2.x:

- - clone a tab with a middle-click
- - middle-clicking the Back and Forward buttons to open in new tab
- - an autoreload feature

Proper session management is a big thing missing from 1.3.x. Galeon 1.2.x did 
it well.

Another thing I dislike about Galeon 1.3 is the behaviour of tabs when they 
are configured to run down the side (left or right) of the screen. Having 
tabs on the side is a major reason for me using Galeon in the first place, so 
It is important for me that it is done well (1.2.x was excellent). I have 
described the problem at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135447 . 
Unfortunately, this bug report hasn't been confirmed yet (despite it being 
almost two months old).

If the Galeon guys can fix the session management and tab problems, I would 
have to _seriously_ consider jumping ship to 1.3.x. Until then, 1.2.x will 
remain my Web browser of choice.

IMHO, Galeon should stop trying so hard to be like other Web browsers. The 
strength of Galeon has always been its functionality. If people want 
simplicity they can choose another browser like Epiphany, Firefox or even 
Konqueror. Why compete for the same market? Galeon 1.2.x _owns_ the 
power-user market, so it should focus there. I am not saying that Galeon 
should abandon usability or have a bloated interface (like Opera). I have 
read Havoc's writings and I agree with a lot of it. However, I see no point 
in writing yet another 'browser for the masses', particularly when GNOME has 
already chosen Epiphany for this purpose.

Galeon 1.2.x was a good Web browser. It could have used some polishing, 
perhaps, but overall there were no fatal flaws. Please don't throw that all 
away in the 1.3.x branch.
