Heh, you're not the first to comment on this, so let me explain ....

First, the menu items aren't actually exchanged, its just that there is
a new "Open link" menu item. 

For 1.3.16 I tried hard to get the context menus for the web pages
consistent, and conforming more with the HIG. One of the recommendations
is that the first item in the context menu be the default action for
when left clicking, hence the new "Open Link" option (which btw, is very
handy for stopping link opening new windows).

However, as one who uses middle mouse click to open a link in a new tab,
I didn't foresee the problem that various people are having with the new
layout, and their 'muscle memory'.

I am inclined to change the order of the "New Tab" and "New Window"
items, although, if I change this one place, I would change all the
places, (file menu, context menu on toolbar buttons, bookmarks etc.).

A workaround for the moment is to locate the "galeon-egg-ui.xml" file on
your system, copy it into ~/.galeon. Then edit it, and search for
"GaleonEmbedLinkPopup", inside there, just remove the line containing
'action="EPOpenAction"'. Then restart galeon, and your context menus
should be back to their former self (well, that one anyway).
