Hmm.. it seems to me little odd that you'd actually prefer moving your
hands between the mouse and the keyboard.  Using either mouse or
keyboard seems more straightforward to me.

With keyboard you can Ctrl+C copy the URL from wherever, Alt-Tab to
Galeon window, Ctrl+L to focus the location entry and Ctrl+V to paste.

Or with mouse, paint the URL, switch to Galeon window, middle-click
paste on the content area to load the URL immediately, or right-click on
the location entry and select Clear, and middle-click on the location
entry to paste the URL for editing.
