Hmm.. it seems to me little odd that you'd actually prefer moving your hands between the mouse and the keyboard. Using either mouse or keyboard seems more straightforward to me. With keyboard you can Ctrl+C copy the URL from wherever, Alt-Tab to Galeon window, Ctrl+L to focus the location entry and Ctrl+V to paste.
