The only gxine.desktop that I can find here doesn't have a MimeType line. Maybe you want to append a line MimeType=video/mpeg to your gxine.desktop (of course only append that line if your gxine.desktop does not have a MimeType already; if it has, append the "video/mpeg" separated by a semicolon: MimeType=audio/mpeg;video/mpeg ) Regards...
