Yeah, I know.  Actually it wasn't clear from the not-enough-poking
that I had done what the standard was.  I thought favicon.ico was a
de-facto hack from the beginning, and there was no correct way to do
it (can I use any image?  Then why all the fuss about png2ico and
ppmtowinicon and always calling it favicon.ico, etc...)?

Turns out that my information wasn't so much _wrong_ as just
_obsolete_.  My bad for not looking harder before posting.  For those

Sorry, I just can't keep up with you young folks turning even
Microsoft de-facto hacks into documented standards lickety-split ;)
