Your personal position and the target of Galeon are clear and fair :-).

Personally I don't feel comfortable at all w/ KDE's browser or other ones
big-browsers, far to heavy for my personal intensive use. The only thing I
miss in Galeon 1.3 in terms of feature is not rendering features but a few UI
features that made Galeon 1.2 very comfortable to use in an intensive manner..
..such as: tab width decreasing (allows more tabs at once w/o having to play
w/ the <|> buttons which are not easily reached), the ability to switch the
Proxy settings from a menu hotkey.

There were an other one, the session support but I recently learnt how 1.3
provides the equivalent feature (add tabs as folder in bookmarks, open in
tabs plus the --load-session command-line switch), great!

As you can see, at least to me, the lacks list is not so wide, and my
only concern is productivity.

A second point was concerning the gconf way of editing some "extra" settings.
It's funny how it resemble the windows registry way. I suppose that this has
been discussed many times and that you did find good reasons to keep that
way. Alea jacta est, I cannot criticize since I don't find it irritating :-).
