From maybe 1017 up to this latest version (1042), a sure-fire way to crash Opera is to try and subscribe to a feed by clicking on the orange RSS favicon in the address bar. What's funny about it is it doesn't happen all the time. I've sent in plenty of bug reports, but they don't seem to help. This time I did it under GCC, but the stack traces doesn't look helpful, either. (Do you guys still have "inspectr"?) Link I was trying to click on apparently evaluates to: http://forum.xda-developers.com/external.php?type\x3dRSS2\x26forumids\x3d935 It's the "EVO Shift RSS" link from http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=935 Anyway: ---- [E0] kenny@hp9800: 3 /home/kenny> export OPERA_DIR=/usr/share/opera-next [E0] kenny@hp9800: 4 /home/kenny> export OPERA_PERSONALDIR=$HOME/.opera-next [E0] kenny@hp9800: 5 /home/kenny> gdb /usr/lib/opera-next/opera-next GNU gdb (Ubuntu/Linaro 7.2-1ubuntu11~ppa1) 7.2 Copyright (C) 2010 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
