... if I change it back to 1.7 everything is ok. Does no one else got these Problems ? I have recognized that after 10 seconds of visiting the admin the session maybe expires and no more sites in admin will be displayed - in the catalog there are no such problems.

Is this a bug or a feature ???

Please tell me what the differences between 1.7 and 1.8 are  -i only recognize the "tep_db_input()" for every db input instead of the previously used pure variables.
