Andrew,

Which version of Pixory are you upgrading from?

The public album designation is actually stored in 2
places. It is always, permanently stored in the .alb
xml files. But pixory builds an "index" of public
albums from the .alb files and stores this index in a
database. The Public Albums page reads the index from
the database. Prior to beta 2.3, pixory stored the
database in the pixory directory created when you
unzipped pixory.zip. From beta 2.3 onward, Pixory
stores the database under the "home" directory (~) of
the user running Pixory. The path to the db is
~/.pixory/data.

While Pixory is running, you should locate the
database. Then shutdown jboss/pixory and see if the db
is getting deleted. If it is, you'll have to figure
out why on your own, as it undoubtedly has something
to do with your jboss configuration-- Pixory is not
deleting the db.

Also, note that you can rebuild the entire "index" at
any time by going to the Advanced Configuration and
hitting the "rebuild index" buttong. You don't have to

go to each individual album and resave the public
setting.

Let us know how you make out.

regards,

joe
