joe. odd. changing owner/group info didn't help. i did discover a way to solve my problem, though. i go into each directory and create a hidden subdirectory (i use '.test'). then when i reindex in pixory, that directory works. i've done this a few times now, and it works consistently. maybe creating that sub-directory does something to the permission/ownership that is too subtle for me to understand, but at least i found a solution. i'm eager to start using pixory (friends and family have been waiting to see my photos since the mid-90s!) thanks again for your software and all of your help. -wink ------------------------ Yahoo!
