This is the first paragraph of the README file:


System Requirements:

    * pentium class computer (500+ MHz recommended) or PowerPC G3+
    * broadband always-on internet connection (dsl or cable)
    * dynamic domain name or static ip-address
    * Java 1.4+ JRE installed on your system
...

Pixory will not work with JRE 1.3-- period.

I find it a little surprising that you have to compile java from
scratch for freeBSD. But if that's the case, then perhaps freeBSD is
not a great choice for Java apps.

I've found Linux to be an excelent platform for running Java apps.
