In the spirit of shifting the design to CSS while preserving accessibility 
and all kinds of backwards compatibility, I hope you'll consider adding 
just a teeny, tiny bit of unnecessary markup.

To support using images to replace heading text, I'd like the option to use 
one of the cover-up methods described on StopDesign.  (You have to go to 
the bottom of the article and visit one of the Cover-Up links there.

The cover-up methods require an id and an extra span, yuck, but they work 
on browers with no CSS, browsers with CSS but no images, and browsers with 
no CSS and no images.

There might be a couple of other cases where a little extra markup would go 
a long way toward reducing the need for users to modify the templates to 
get the results they want.
