[announcement] IMS-Support

Hello,

it's a bit quiet on this list. We should change it :-) be verbose!

The EduZope Initiative - in core OpenSource.AGentur, BlueDynamics, 
solution2u.net and jens quadrat - are implementing the 
IMS-ContentPackaging (CP) Specification for use with Plone.

We're also on IMS-LOM ( and building a prototype application for 
IMS-Learning-Design (LD) and IMS-QTI (Lite).

At the Educational Sprint in Paderborn (and hopefully at Castle-Sprint) 
we should be able to demonstrate IMS-CP export and the generic model 
behind it. May be we're able to present parts of the other specs too.

The architecture behind is heavily based on archetypes. For IMS-LD we're 
using CMFOpenFlow from Reflab.

Just at the moment we're switching over from conceptual work to 
implementation.
