interesting. But why would firefox request the geometry change after 
all? Why don't give itself into the hands of the window manager.

ok, I got it. Sounds like the useful feature, but I think that the 
global option might be an overkill. In such a case if the application 
pops up a dialog box it is going to appear in top-left corner of the 
window rather than in the center. Or I am missing something here?
