If you have the experience, the tests are only $125 a piece. Surely that's not too much?

Personally, I think if you have to study for any of the core .Net tests, you just don't have enough experience to me MDAC/MCSD :-)

I felt the same way about the VB6 tests. The only tests I ever study for are the SQL Server exams, and I don't mind that, as I never claim to be a DBA.

Well, as an MCSD I have found it helps with the interview process and that
is it. I have decided not to 're-up' my cert for .Net as I just don't see it
as being worth it (too much cost for too little benefit), especially with a
senior .Net lead developer in NYC only being offered $50,000.

Best wishes to all,
John
