Umm, you're not by chance running Windows Media Player at the same time as DocGen, are you? We actually did have some never-resolved, hard-to-repro, bugs regarding WMP and Gen<X>... it's like they're doing something incestuous with the scripting engine, or something. DocGen passes all my tests on XP SP1 -- although admittedly none of them could be considered "largish". Is it really a true access violation in wizrun.exe, or some kinda script-level crash? In either case, can you give me more info? Like the module responsible for the av? Maybe try attaching a debugger to wizrun.exe... ntsd -g wizrun.exe DocGenWizard.gxw (When you hit an av, it will break -- type "kb" to get a raw binary stack trace... should include module info, at the very least... maybe even offsets from exports, I forget.)
