Error Messages: Your Changes Cannot Be Written

I tried to make changes in Ecco Pro on the computer where the master file is located (Windows 7) and get the following error message: "Error Messages: Your changes cannot be written to the master file because of an error that previously occurred while reading or writing. To allow changes to be read and written, close and reopen this file."

I've tried closing and reopening without success. Anyone know of any easy fixes?

Worst case scenario is that I will have to take the data from the notebook which has the most up to date data and start over setting up synchronized data on different computers with that. Not a huge deal, but if there happens to be an easy fix to the data on the computer with the error message that would save some time.
