1) Do you have any reliable backup (.bk1, .bk2) of your data file
(not .ECB, not . ECG, not .ECC) from a time or another system when
you had it working OK? Or don't you backup your files when they
are so important to you?

2) Did you ever checked your connection status and reviewed your
synchronized copies and/or disconnected your synchronized copy
from your master file per File -> Properties -> Disconnect?

3) How can you compact the "Eccoext" file to recover over 3MB of
data? You can't recover data from the eccoext.exe" file ;-)

I compacted the new Eccoext file and 3165398 bytes were
recovered. When I tried to recover the database it said
'Ecco was unable to recover data from the file'.

Sorry to return to this but I am very dependent on Ecco
and must get it working again.
