My memory of this happening is vague but I remember thinking it may not be a bug.

Now that I took a closer look, I think the issue may be this:

If you change the  start or end time of a one recurrence, and then select "Selected recurrence only," it will change the time(s) of that recurrence only as expected.

If you select the same recurrence again, and try to do it again, the dialog will not be triggered UNLESS you set the start and end times back to their original values and then try to reset either time again.  If you do the latter, it will again trigger the dialog.

This makes sense.  Once you change that recurrence, it "floats" out of the series with its own settings.  So it makes sense that resetting it won't trigger that dialog because it is already an exception to the rules.  Once you reset it to its original values, it regains its position as part of the series and the cycle can restart.

I think it is the right behavior.  (and yet another tribute to the brilliant thinking of Arabesque/Ecco development team!)
