Bill;  Back in Win3/Win95 days there was an issue with Ecco and a Windows graphics cache called GDI.  If memory serves, strange visuals would occur when GDI got low.  I thought that problem went away with 32bit and NT/Win2K. But maybe Ecco's older code is triggering problem after hitting some point or other? 

Troubleshooting would be a process of elimination so (1) reboot computer and launch Ecco with as little else running as possible.  Yes/No?  (2) If problem persists, start new Ecco file setup a couple alarms.  Yes./No?
