Our group allows members to hide their email address from the group moderators. When the "Hide Email" option is selected, our group will not be able to use the "Polls" page. Instead of polling here is a message to all members including the members of our sister group "ecco_pro" (if you are a member of "ecco_pro" you might copy and post this message). Following some of the recent postings, here is the idea:

 A) Who would be interested in an EccoPro User Meeting? (South-East, North-East, Mid-West or West)

 B) Who would be interested in EccoPro Seminars? (South-East, North-East, Mid-West or West)

Possible Keynotes (please add anything you can think of!):

 1) How to avoid “Out Of Memory Errors” with memory management
 2) How to implement the LUA Programming Language effectively
 3) Which EccoPro Template for which Project or Business

 4) Server Administration or EccoPro Network Synchronization
 5) Two –Way Synchronization with Android Smartphones and Tablets

 C) Who would be willing to share his experiences and serve as a keynote speaker?

Depending on the interest in doing such meetings, I plan to publish the results and will try to arrange locations and accommodations central to the user interest and the user location. Keynote speakers will be compensated and the overall costs will be shared fairly.

Again, this group will hide email addresses and member locations, unable to help us in organizing the meetings. One way to circumvent this problem is to sign up as a client at CompuSol - Creative Services http://creativeservices.us - no purchase necessary - so I can add your email address and location to the over 2500 EccoPro users in our database. If you setup a new account or already have one please submit a support ticket and share with us your interest in one of the above. I will create a dedicated user group separate from any other client group just for the purpose of organizing one of the above events.

If this would be our first EccoPro user meeting in over 20 Years, we owe it our beloved software and those original developers at Arabesque like Ed Sheppard, the little known chief architect of Ecco and other original team members including Ravi Pandya, Charles “String of Pearls” Seybold, Fredric Wamsley, and Hubert “Group Scheduling” Hoover. They will definitely be invited and I hope at least one can show up at the meeting.
