Can't Find Configuration File [3 Attachments]

I have long experience with Ecco Pro.
I keep getting an error message (included) when I try to close a file I 
get an error that says it cannot find the configuration file.

Data, I am on Toughbook CF54 with Windows Premium 7.   As I am a 
physician I must encrypt anything with a patient name or info. I have 
installed the program to my C drive but I use Kaspsersky encryption 
Vaults for the data files.  The data is in one of those files.  I have 
had no problem with this in the past.
I have cleared the program with Revo Uninstaller many times and re 
install many times.  It some time will close once properly and after 
that the file closing hangs. I have even obtained a fresh template and 
it does the same thing.

I love this program for the past 20 years and followed the development 
by slang closely and feel I understand the program well but I am 
completely mystified by this.
