Hi Peter
The bk files have to be renamed to .eco inorder to open them. they are
backups of your data files.
the ecco.cfg, ecco.cfx and ecco.alm files will be on your system
somewhere. You have to search all directories. I should have thought of
that one when you called today! (duh... old age)
Anyway, ecco.alm can be safely deleted - if it is causing problems, ecco
will recreateit when you open. One of theother two files contain your
toolbar and filters and such. Youwill want to rename them by adding .old
on the file.
Then try to run ecco. If it runs, it will create these files again, not
necessarily in the same directory.
To an earlier pointyou raised, the setup32.exe file should work in Win10
64, I think. I can't remember if I just migrated over from Win 7 64 bit
or not? Maybe that was it. I think you can still run the installer, but
perhaps someone else has more upto date info on that.
