I've been off in the ether for a very long time but I am involved in
several groups that are transferring to Groups.io, which I see is happening
here. Are there plans regarding the message archive? Because of the huge
surge of transfer requests, it would cost $220 (one-time) to transfer the
existing message archive, files, etc., from Yahoogroups to Groups.io. I've
been through this process before as a group moderator, and it works very
well and very smoothly. Group members pitched in at $10 a pop to the
moderator's Paypal account to cover the fee, and raised it in a day. If
there is similar interest here, that's something to consider, especially to
maintain the continuity of the message archive - lots of history that would
be a shame to lose
