> I don't remember the problem with pumpmessages Actually it's a general gui refreshing issue but aside from that Gui4Cli is still fully functional on W2K. After you start it up you hardly notice it. Only if you move a open message box, there's a white hole at the old position when you close it :) > but the other one with the > usb crashes was a bug which I fixed (although a silly one). Oh! My mistake. I'm sure you mentioned it somewhere in the change log. I also have the impression that string space (buffers) are corrupted in some way. Basically there seems to be nothing wrong there because I also use the buffer + addCode commands to load, decript and run gui's and this always works fine. Also note that when I found a "install path / script size" combo where it runs without issues, it's behavior consistent. About what Win7 says of Gui4Cli. If you right-click on the executable there's an option to trouble-shoot compatibility issues and that sees Gui4Cli as a "Windows XP SP2" application. You can check that out yourself. The ideal would be if it says it's a Windows 7 application :) Chris --- In [email protected], Dimitris Keletsekis <gui4cli@...> wrote: > > I don't remember the problem with pumpmessages, but the other one with the > usb crashes was a bug which I fixed (although a silly one). > > The problem you're having sounds like overwritten memory (just a guess). > Some function overwrites a buffer which is supposed to hold something else > and messes it up.
