I know, but C# is no good if it needs to interoperate with C or C++ code,
and one of the component's features is speed.

I know that as well, but as far as Microsoft is concerned, I've been on the
20% side whole my programming life, so I worry for reason, plus I don't
think Microsoft gives a @#$% about what's a convenient IDE for their own
C++ developers :) If it wasn't for the antivirus issues I'm sure the
Add/Remove Programs dialog would have stayed written in HTML...
