ubuntu breezy and local time

Hi,
I am using preview release of Ubuntu Breezy. After a lot of effort I was 
able to teach KDE that my timezone is US/New York. I don't seem to be able 
to tell that to windowmaker. When I log into windowmaker the time in wmclock 
is that of UTC.

What do I do?
