But to solve the problem you are describing, try clicking the Application Icon. It will raise all of the windows associated with the same app (it will raise all of your conversation windows, for instance). That way if some get buried over time, clicking the app icon will put them all on top again. I use this feature a lot with multiple xterms. Before I started using wmaker, I felt like I had too many terminals open--I had to use those tabbed terminal emulators. But now with wmaker--I just put each terminal in a different corner of the screen. If one gets buried--oh well. And later if I want to look at them all, mouse click on the terminal app icon.
