Hi David,
Thanks for submitting your Owner Review. Here are your edits in the usual format of,
EDIT – must change
edit – my recommended change if you agree
Comment – is just that.

Volume
6.3 oz (179 g)
4.20'' x 4.20'' x 4.60'' (10.5 x 10.5 x 11.5 cm )
0.6L
EDIT – Spelling of “Dimensions”
Edit – 4.20” x 4.20” x 4.60” The “0” is unnecessary as it adds nothing to the measurement – literally J
EDIT – Remove the extra space after “11.5 cm”
“The lid contains two openings on either side; one larger for drinking/pouring and one smaller to let the air in when drinking/pouring.”
edit – I’d remove, “on either side”, as it confuses the total number of available openings. Or, state it this way, “The lid contains two openings; one larger for drinking/pouring [and on the opposite side,] one smaller to let the air in when drinking/pouring.”
“With the lid in the first position, the pot can be used as a cup allowing me to drink from it without my skin being exposed to the (possibly hot) metal of the pot while helping to keep the contents hot/cold.”
Edit – I’d add a separate sentence about the ability of the pot keeping its contents hot or cold. Your sentence is confusing in that it appears that the pot may be hot while keeping its contents “cold.”
“This makes a handle (which in my experience on this type of pot often just becomes hot from the heat of the stove anyway) unnecessary.”
Edit – I would rewrite this for clarity. Maybe like this, which keeps your words in a different order, [This makes a handle unnecessary, which in my experience on this type of pot often just becomes hot from the heat of the stove anyway.]
“The gripper includes an internal magnet intended to it to stick to the fuel canister while not in use.”
EDIT – Remove [to it] and add [it] after “stick” so it reads this way as an example, [The gripper includes an internal magnet intended to stick it to the fuel canister while not in use.]
Comment – I’d also replace “while” and instead use [when] not in use.
“NOTE: the gripper is intended to be used to hold the pot (e.g. while string food during cooking) or to remove the pot from the stove.”
EDIT – (e.g. while [stirring] food during cooking)
“It should NOT be used to pour hot contents of the cup, that is better done AFTER placing the pot into the sleeve…and yes I did have to learn that the hard way.”
Comment – I had the same issue with mine and made sure I always poured from the side so my fingers stayed out of the steam.
“The Foon is a combination of a fork and spoon, often referred to as a “spork”.
Edit – Unless you’re using “foon” as a proper noun, use lower case as it is just another tool, like fork, spoon, and spork. Please check uniformity throughout your report as it is capitalized numerous times unnecessarily IMO.
“For example chicken broth with dried vegetables and dried cheese tortellini.”
EDIT – Remove the extra space after “vegetables” and I’d add a comma after “example”
“While heating water or food I place use the lid inverted to help retain heat.”
EDIT – pick either “place’ or ‘use’, but remove one of them.
“Obviously when the pot is on the stove this is not a good idea, so it is recommended to never put the lid on the pot in the normal position while cooking.”
Comment – Who is recommending this? If it is you, change it to say you are recommending it, and if it is the manufacturer, then quote them. Obviously, this potentially reduce the chances of awarding yet another Darwin Award…
“Most often I use the pot with one of my small canister top or alcohol (commercial and homemade) stoves, but I have used it with larger camp stoves, some compact wood burning stoves, and a few times with a campfire.”
Edit – did you mean “canister top”? or canister type?
“I have found this to be the most effective method of cleaning my pots and after disposing the sand (I burry it in my latrine along with my food scraps) I am not left with scrubber that smells of my food.”
EDIT – spelling of [bury]
“I believe this is what damaged my original sleeve, which resulted in my replacing it.”
Edit - this is the first time you mention having to replace an original part of your cook set. I’d have preferred to have read about it much earlier and with some detail as to how the damage occurred, contact with customer service or the retail store (if any) and the amount of use you got from it as well as the amount of use from its replacement.
So that was all I found. I liked your report and the amount of photos you added. When you’re ready, go ahead and upload to
