Yup. A couple of variations: instead of making GORP with raisins and
peanuts and M&Ms, take peanut M&Ms and get the peanuts and chocolate
simultaneously.

I recently started buying from Trader Joe's some dried fruit covered in
chocolate and then covered in a candy shell, I think Dillettante is the
brand, although I think the price is more like $6 than the $10.50 on the
Dilletante website. So maybe it's a Trader Joe's knock-off of the
Dillettante idea.

So far I haven't taken it on any hikes, and given the season there's not
going to be any melting chocolate anyway, but this could be a way to add
some variety and class to the hike, while still avoiding the melting
chocolate problem.
