HELP! stuck driver's window

hi all
I just replaced my front driver's door lock module, and have a stuck window
replaced the inner door panel, reattached lock module, replaced key 
unit, etc
had just replaced glass in regulator
had the bright idea to roll up window to 'seat' glass properly in the 
clamps, before I tightened them
(so clamps were loose when I rolled it up)
and now it won't roll down again
it is really stuck
what did I do??
how do I fix this?
it is so tight I think I might break the plastic crank handle (windows 
are manual) if I crank any harder
what got stuck??
