Hi Dov,
Interesting that you should say so. As an employer, I tend to agree with 
everything that Shlomi says. Good employees are the main asset in IT and 
they need to be treated with the care and respect that you would treat any 
other key asset. Most employers I know understand this. On the other hand, 
some employees overcommit themselves and are not comfortable talking to 
their employers about their personal needs for rest and time off. That is, 
IT slavery is mainly, but not entirely, the employers' fault. There is a 
lot of macho work ethic among some of the younger more ambitious 
IT employees that goes beyond what the employer actually demands. It's not 
surprising that employers exploit this whenever possible.
