Yes, Dov and YBA. It is indeed an "Ode To Shlomi". But - and I say this
both as an employee and an employer, there are indeed points to take to
heart. Mind you, not in Shlomi's paper, but rather in some of his sources.

Prabably the best source Shlomi is quoting is Joel S. Alas, not everything
JS writes is appliable to Israel.

Possibly the most important point (which, alas, is not explicitly stated in
JS) is - coordinate expectations. When an employer (for whatever reason)
does not wish or is not able to provide something - be it new and lovely
hardware or a raise - this inability should be explicable and clear. When
an employee is unable to provide something - be it a timely delivery or
anything else - this inability should likewise be clear and understood.

Transgressing the above rule should also be explained, if not in advance,
than at least away.
