No.  Actually, at one time we were considering a maximum number of 
moderations possible to any one comment - just cut it off at some point.

There's always been the ability to ignore ratings, and relatively 
recently the ability to hide scores as well - these are disjunct, so you 
could set up your preferences to only show high-rated comments but not 
to show you the scores.
