Why, I imagine you're proud of living in NYC.  I think of the New Yorker
cartoon which shows a map of NYC with the rest of the world sloping off into
nothingness . . .

I'm a university librarian living and working 20 minutes from NYC.  Most of
my colleagues are at least vaguely aware of what an ebook is, and of course
everyone in the library knows about them.  On a train to DC (or underground
in NYC), at a park, at a Dr.s office, at my gym, people are mystified.
