I would agree with that.    My comparison was more the idea of 
repeat business and magazine publishing in particular is a 
goodish match.   In fact the modern magazine has become almost 
exactly that a 'point-of-sale-terminal'   ;-), if you allow for 
little things like phone calls, letters or visits to websites. 
Amazon thinks of combining things into the digital experience.

And you point to another way in which Amazon books sales are 
about 'doorways' much more than books!
